    Study weekend with Professor Edwin Bryant

    A weekend studying one of the key classical yoga texts, the Bhagavad Gita

    Edwin is a Sanskrit scholar and Professor of Indology at Rutgers University in the US, a compelling speaker he brings to life the key yoga texts in the context of our yoga practice

    Concert with classical Indian singer Tritha Sinha 

    Tritha has been studying Indian classical music for 25 years and has performed across the world in 18 countries. With 16 albums to her credit she combines her classical tradition with contemporary collaborations and her versatility has earned her a name as a 'music activist'.  Also a yoga practitioner, she performs devotional songs and mantras and is particularly interested in the healing power of sound.

    This is a rare opportunity to experience an intimate concert with a world renowned Indian musician in the amazing acoustic environment of Salem Chapel in Hay where she will perform sacred chants and healing raagas.

    Active Sound Healing workshop with Tritha Sinha

    Alongside her work as a classical Indian musician and performer, Tritha has been teaching music therapy and working with sound healing throughout the last decade. This participatory workshop will lead you through the sound vibrations associated with each chakra as a powerful tool for concentration, meditation and healing.

    A series of short workshops, following the summer break, with Cori and Pete, suitable for all regular students. Each morning will include some yoga philosophy to provide context for the practice. Come to all three days or choose one or two.

    Friday 30th, 10am - 1pm: Suitable for experienced and mixed ability students.

    Saturday 31st, 10am - 1 pm: Ideal as a first workshop for beginners level and mixed ability students.

    Sunday 1st Sept, 10am - 1pm: Restorative and pranayama, suitable for all levels.
